Visture property managementAfter nearly a year of dealing with the city and most recently the COVID19 challenges, we are thrilled that we will soon be able to help 2 families with some amazing housing in Peterborough.

Peterborough has had a housing shortage crisis for many years and we at Visture Property Group and Visture Property Management Peterborough are trying very hard to help good families have a great home.

This new property has been completely rebuilt from the ground up – it’s barely recognizable (see before/after pics). Having survived two fires this building needed the Visture Property Managmenet touch! Let’s just say we gave it A LOT of TLC. Everything is brand new including the infrastructure of the building.

The lower unit is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom premium apartment and the upper unit is a 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment. Both apartments have the most amazing views with an incredible location. The green space and access to water is unprecedented being so close to down (15 minute walk to downtown).

On March 23, 2020, Ontario Orders the Mandatory Close of ALL non-essential workplaces as one measure to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

WARNING: Property Management Vs. Property Maintenance

As a property management company in Peterborough Ontario, we spend our time caring for tenants. Many of the apartments we manage in Peterborough are owned by other real estate investors (aka: landlords or rental housing providers). If you are one of these real estate investors, selecting a good property management company in Peterborough is paramount to ensure you maximize your ROI and minimize your risk.

One possible issue is that many property maintenance services companies fancy themselves property managers in Peterborough and I must warn you; these are NOT THE SAME.

Property maintenance companies provide a service such as snow removal, lawn care, maintenance work, etc. Property management companies handle tenants, marketing your apartments, inspections, move-in, move-out, day-to-day tenant care. That’s a bold statement, we know. Don’t forget we are NOT your traditional property management company, first and foremost, we are real estate investors (like you) and like you we also want to save money.
